Here's a look at new Atlanta eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces to open for events this summer. The new and renovated Atlanta venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fund-raisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, teambuilding activities, conferences, meetings, and more.

Tampa-based beer bar the Brass Tap opened a new location in Glenwood Park in April. The restaurant serves more than 200 varieties of beer, and fare includes burgers, tacos, flatbreads, and sandwiches. The 3,100-square-foot venue, which has an outdoor patio, seats 130 and is available for meetings and private events.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the new home of the Atlanta Falcons and United FC, is slated to open at the end of August with an Atlanta Falcons pre-season game, which will be its first ticketed public event. The multi-purpose venue, which has a retractable roof, spans two-million square feet and will hold as many as 71,000 people for N.F.L. games, 75,000 for the S.E.C. Championship, 83,000 for basketball games, and 40,000 for soccer games. The venue will have an extensive portfolio of options for private events with a variety of spaces: 300 Skybridge will hold around 200 people for receptions; the 12,500-square-foot 100 Yard Club will hold as many as 300 for receptions; the playing field can hold more than 5,000 guests standing; and the North Champions Lounge will hold as many as 1,000 standing.

Contemporary American restaurant Bacchanalia moved to a new location in the Westside Provisions District in April. Helmed by chefs Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison, the restaurant offers a seasonal prix fixe menu featuring creative plates made with ingredients from the duo's farm. The 4,300-square-foot restaurant, which is available for private events, seats 84 in the main dining room, 40 in a semiprivate dining room, and 12 at a bar.

California-based sports bar Yard House opened its second Atlanta location at the Battery in April. Located adjacent to SunTrust Park, the venue serves more than 130 beers on tap and offers a variety of dishes, including poke nachos, Nashville hot chicken, and street tacos. The 12,000-square-foot space seats 829 guests. A covered patio is available for private events, accommodating as many as 80 seated and 130 reception-style. The venue also has a private room called the Solarium, which seats 40 and holds 50 for receptions.

Dallas-based restaurant Taverna opened at the Shops Buckhead Atlanta in May. Offering Italian fare including risotto, pasta, and pizza, the restaurant has a rustic environment with elements such as exposed brick and leather banquets. The 4,200-square-foot restaurant seats 140 and is available for meetings and private events. The restaurant has a private table that seats as many as 14.

Kaiser's Chophouse, a steakhouse concept from chefs Peter Kaiser and Kevin Rathbun, opened in Sandy Springs in May. The restaurant, which offers traditional American steakhouse fare, features a modern interior designed by the Johnson Studio at Cooper Carey, with elements such as a floor-to-ceiling glass wine cellar and a custom-built walnut bookshelf. The venue has a semiprivate dining room that seats as many as 30 guests, and can tailor to any party with customizable food and beverage menus and decor. Buyouts are available for as many as 140 seated.

Java Cats Café, the first of its kind in Atlanta, opened in March. The cat-friendly coffee shop serves beverages from Ebrik Coffee Room, food from nonprofit organization the Gathering, and features a separate cat lounge for patrons to play with cats. Owner Haydn Hilton partnered with no-kill shelter Paws Atlanta to foster the cats, which are available for adoption at the venue. The 1,550-square-foot space can hold as many as 42 reception-style, and is available for private events and buyouts.

Todd English Tavern opened at the Battery adjacent to SunTrust Park in April. Offering a modern take on Southern and international fare, the upscale tavern concept from celebrity chef Todd English serves dishes such as duck burgers, Cuban sandwiches, and Carolina-style barbecue chicken. The restaurant has a 4,600-square-foot interior that seats 170 and a 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio that seats 109. Areas of the restaurant are available to reserve for large parties.

Residence Inn Atlanta Perimeter Center/Dunwoody is slated to open in August. The hotel, which is walking distance to Perimeter Mall and public-transit stations to the airport, has seven floors and 127 suites. Pets including dogs, cats, birds, and fish are allowed for a non-refundable fee. The hotel has a 582-square-foot meeting space that accommodates 55 theater-style and reception-style.

Hickory & Hazel Southern Table and Bar opened in the lobby of the new Renaissance Atlanta Airport Gateway Hotel in May. The hotel restaurant serves a variety of Southern fare from a menu led by chef Blake McDonald, and offers a beverage program that will allow patrons to participate in mixology lessons. The restaurant also will offer events such as wine tastings, painting classes, and live music from local acts. The 2,976-square-foot space seats 106 in the main dining room and bar.
