10 New Venues in Las Vegas for Spring Meetings and Events

These restaurants, hotels, conference centers, and more slated to open in Las Vegas for meetings and events this spring.

Here's a look at new Las Vegas eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces to open for events this spring. The new and renovated Las Vegas venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fund-raisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, teambuilding activities, conferences, meetings, and more.

6. Rosina
6. Rosina

Cocktail bar Rosina opened at the Palazzo Las Vegas in December. The new venue offers guests an opulent atmosphere with shades of black, gold, pearl, and burgundy, presented in decor and furniture such as crystal chandeliers, high-top tables, U-shaped banquettes, and an 1,100-square-foot bar that resembles a jewelry box. The bar’s signature feature is a “Champagne Call Button,” a button on a mirrored column next to their table that guests push when they would like a refill. The venue seats 65 guests and is available for private events.

1. Aria Resort & Casino

Aria Resort & Casino unveiled an additional 200,000 square feet of flexible meeting space at its convention center in February. The $170 million expansion—which brings the total square footage of convention space to 500,000—features a number of non-traditional meeting areas including the 3,000-square-foot Cypress Executive Lounge, which offers a stocked pantry, three private suites for personal work space and one-on-one meetings, and a conference room that holds 30 for receptions. Other additions include 15 new meeting rooms and three new ballrooms, including a top floor ballroom with two open-air verandas that accommodate as many as 2,000 guests for receptions.

2. The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa

The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa completed its transformation into a non-gaming, non-smoking property in January. Along with upgrades to the property’s 826 guest rooms, the renovation included the replacement of the casino floor with Jake & Eli, a bourbon-theme restaurant, and 2,000 square feet of new meeting spaces. These include the Bristlecone room, which seats 200 theater-style; the Wisteria room, which seats 60 theater-style; and the Cactus and Rosewood rooms, which each seat 42 theater-style.

3. Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar
3. Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar

Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar opened in October as part of Monte Carlo’s transformation into Park MGM. The restaurant, which is managed by Hogsalt Hospitality and helmed by Chicago restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff, offers a number of steak and seafood dishes with a bit of French inspiration, along with a cocktail program that spotlights the Old Fashioned. The 7,900-square-foot restaurant, which has a Gilded Age-inspired interior, seats 275. A hidden parlor bar is available for private events in the back of the venue.

4. China Tang
4. China Tang

China Tang, the first U.S. restaurant from Hong Kong-based Lai Sun Group, opened at MGM Grand in February. The Tang Dynasty-theme restaurant offers an extensive menu helmed by executive chef Albert Au Kwok Keung and a a cocktail menu with drinks inspired by Pre-Opium War Era China and Colonial Era China. The venue seats 232 guests and has a private dining room that can be sectioned off for smaller groups or used for a large event.

5. Jake & Eli

Part of the Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa’s new renovation, Jake & Eli opened in January. The bourbon-theme restaurant offers American comfort food dishes and craft cocktails in an atmosphere highlighted by exposed brick walls, industrial chandeliers, plush booths, and high-top seating. The 6,000-square-foot restaurant seats 202 guests.

7. North Italia
7. North Italia

North Italia, a restaurant from Fox Restaurant Concepts, opened at Rampart Commons in December. The Summerlin venue, which is the restaurant’s 12th national location and first Nevada location, serves Italian fare as well as beer from local breweries including CraftHaus, Joseph James, and Tenaya Creek. The 6,970-square-foot restaurant seats 254 guests in the main dining room and 95 guests on its patio.

8. Red Lotus Asian Kitchen

Tropicana Las Vegas opened Asian-inspired restaurant Red Lotus Asian Kitchen in February. Located next to the casino floor, the restaurant serves traditional dishes from a variety of Asian countries prepared with Westernized influences. The 1,582-square-foot venue seats 44 guests.

9. Osteria Costa
9. Osteria Costa

Osteria Costa opened at the Mirage in February. The restaurant has a menu led by executive chef Michael La Placa, offering Neopolitan-style pizzas, pastas, seafood, and more dishes inspired by the Amalfi Coast. The restaurant seats 206 and has a semiprivate dining room.

10. The Habit Burger Grill

The Habit Burger Grill, a fast-casual burger and sandwich restaurant, opened its sixth Nevada location in North Las Vegas in January. The restaurant, which is known for its signature “Charburgers,” features indoor and outdoor patio seating, and California-inspired artwork in the interior. The 2,885-square-foot restaurant seats 70 guests.
