On Thursday, the Las Vegas Hospitality Association will announce five Distinction Award winners for 2010. The award dinner at the Las Vegas Convention Authority will honor four hospitality leaders and one resort.
Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville senior sales manager Jennifer Cheung will pick up the Rising Star award, Activity Planners owner Karen Gordon will receive the Spirit Award, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority vice president of sales Chris Meyer will be named the industry leader, and MGM Mirage chief marketing officer Bill Hornbuckle will pick up the Legacy award. Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment will be named business of the year.
The event theme is “Reflections.” The evening’s M.C. will be Dave McCann, news anchor with TV 8. George Wallace will be the featured entertainment.
