1. TOP 250 U.S. TRADE SHOWS RANKED: Trade Show News Network released its list of the top 250 U.S. trade shows, ranked by net square footage. The C.E.S. show in Las Vegas tops the field again at more than 1.8 million net square feet. Las Vegas is home to the most shows on the list, at 53, followed by Orlando at 27 and Chicago with 20. 2. TWITTER CHOOSES MORNING SHOW FOR LATEST LAUNCH: Twitter #Music publicly launched yesterday on Good Morning America. The app allows users to find new music via artists' accounts and tweet their favorite songs to followers. Originally only available to celebrities, the rollout is the company's effort to reach older generations. Huffington Post: "Morning shows like Today and Good Morning America tend to have older demographies. 3. GLAD REDUCES WASTE AT "ONE-BAG" PARTY: Trash bag brand Glad hosted an Earth Day-themed party for which it pledged to only throw away one bag of trash and recycle or compost the remaining waste. It chose as host actress Tiffani Thiessen, who plays an event planner on USA's White Collar TV show. Huffington Post asked Thiessen for tips on throwing an eco-friendly party: "One of the neatest things people can try to do, if they're able to over the years, is collect good serving ware and not use paper and plastic so much. Linens, you can wash and use over and over. 4. BIKE TOUR CHANGES MARKETING FOLLOWING BOSTON TRAGEDY: New York City's 5 Boro Bike Tour is removing event's posters that show pyrotechnics shooting off as bikers leave the finish line. Gothamist: "We were getting phone calls and emails from people who thought the ads were inappropriate and we agreed. The last thing in the world we want to do is offend anybody in a time of tragedy," said the organization's C.E.O., Ken Podziba. 5. TUCKER TO HOST BET AWARDS: Actor Chris Tucker will host this year's BET Awards on June 28. Vibe: "The awards ceremony will be a part of the new 'BET Experience at L.A. Live,' a three-day event that kicks off with a special concert from Beyoncé as part of her Mrs. Carter Tour June 28.
