Here's a look at the best new venues in Las Vegas to open this winter with options for cocktail receptions, business dinners, conferences, and corporate entertaining. These venues can accommodate meetings and events large or small with conference rooms, ballrooms, dance floors, DJs, private rooms, and more.
3. Scarlet

Scarlet, a 200-square-foot jewel box on the casino floor at Palms Casino Resort, opened in late December. With a capacity of just 15 guests, the space is meant to have an intimate, speakeasy feel. The concept from 9Group Las Vegas is part of a $50 million renovation at Palms.

1. Commonwealth

Commonwealth, a downtown bar inspired by the pre-Prohibition era, opened in December. The nearly 6,000-square-foot space has a speakeasy for 25 guests, a 117-person downstairs space, and a rooftop bar for 125 people that has its own cocktail menu.

2. Honey Salt

A farm-to-table restaurant with regionally sourced ingredients, Honey Salt opened in November 2012 from restauranteur Elizabeth Blau and her husband, chef Kim Canteenwalla. The space is available for buyout and seats 140 inside, 10 at the bar, and 20 on the patio.

4. She by Morton's

She by Morton's, a restaurant and nightclub, opened New Year's Eve at Crystals at CityCenter. The 220-seat restaurant, featuring meats from Morton’s Steakhouse, also has two private dining rooms that seat 12 and 20 people, respectively, and a 40-person indoor-outdoor lounge. Upstairs, the 800-person nightclub will have tiered seating looking down on interactive performances from entertainers. The concept takes over Eva Longoria's Beso Steakhouse, and Longoria is a partner in this new venture.

5. Bagatelle

Bagatelle is opening a Las Vegas location at the Tropicana Las Vegas. The complex will include a 500-person restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and two private dining rooms that each seat 40, as well as a nightclub with three full-service bars, two private bars, indoor and outdoor DJ booths, and a V.I.P. gaming area. Its sports amenities include two sand volleyball courts, two boccie ball courts, and a beach soccer court. The total property has a capacity of 4,000.

6. Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort

A $35 million renovation to Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort included several upgrades such as a remodeled Bighorn Grill, eight additional trails, a new energy-efficient lift for the bunny hill, and a new on-mountain grill. During the season, the 80-seat Bighorn Grill is not available for buyouts, but private groups can use the Hospitality Yurt, which can accommodate 20 people, for events. The resort, about an hour away from downtown Las Vegas, is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

7. Social

Social, a whiskey-focused bar at the Palms Casino Resort, opens January 25. Located at the center of the renovated casino floor, Social will feature more than 30 brands of single malts and limited-edition bourbons as well as its own whiskey-based cocktails and whiskey flights. The design of the space allows for open sight lines to the gaming floor.

8. DB’s Pong & Pool

DB's Pong & Pool, a just-opened leisure sports mecca at Planet Hollywood, offers fun-loving groups the chance to play ping-pong, shuffleboard, beer pong, darts, foosball, and pool. The space can accommodate groups from six to as many as 1,200 people.

9. Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill

Chef Gordon Ramsay opened his second Las Vegas restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, in December at Caesar's Palace. The 290-seat restaurant has a backdrop inspired by London's traditional red telephone booths and a British pub-inspired menu. A private dining room is available for groups.

10. Andrea's

Andrea's, a new restaurant and nightclub by Las Vegas Nightlife Group at Encore, opened in late December. Andrea’s accommodates 150 guests and offers buyouts as well as group reservations for parties of 15 to 48. Under executive chef Joseph Elevardo, the restaurant serves Asian-inspired fare. DJ Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia fame heads the music program.
