There's An Expansion Spree Throughout Florida

There's a whole lot of expansion going on all over Florida. In Panama City Beach, the Edgewater Beach Resort recently added a 500-square-foot state-of-the-art boardroom to its 32,700 square feet of meeting space. In Daytona Beach, the Ocean Center Convention and Entertainment Complex is undergoing a $57 million expansion, including 130,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space as well as the renovation of existing meeting rooms. It should be completed by 2007. The Registry Resort & Club in Naples recently expanded its second-floor ballroom to the tune of $12 million. And the Doral Golf Resort & Spa will undergo a three-year renovation, which will include the addition of a 65,000 square-foot ballroom.
