Idol vodka, introduced in October, is produced from chardonnay and pinot noir grapes from Burgundy; boasting no impurities, it is said to be distilled seven times from Cote D'Or mineral water and filtered five times afterward. Brand owner Boisset America recommends mixing the liquor with wine—a pinot-tini, for example, made with well-chilled Idol and pinot noir. Premier Beverage Company (Tampa) distributes Idol. —Juan Carlos Rodriguez
