Hilton at Disney World Resort Goes Green

The Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort recently received a green lodging hotel award certificate for contributing to the preservation of the environment and the conservation of energy in everyday business. Green lodging hotels use energy-efficient lighting and appliances; have towel and linen replacement systems; use green cleansers; and have timers on outdoor lighting systems. After being honored with the award, the Hilton was paid a visit by Florida Governor Charlie Crist, who congratulated the hotel staff on their efforts.
