Located within the Red Rose Inn and Suites in Plant City, the Red Rose Ballroom was recently renovated to enhance the meeting experience. Owned by Evelyn and Batista Madonia, the ballroom space can accommodate as many as 500 guests for conferences, banquets, concerts, and receptions. An overall Gone with the Wind theme is reflected in the artwork and custom-tailored drapery. Emerald green velvet wallpaper, four oversized chandeliers, antique gold metallic woodwork, mahogany doors with brass handles, mini chandeliers atop each of the mirrors, a rose-patterned carpet, and a prefunction area offering plenty of red leather seating define the facility. Even the restrooms—with granite stalls and countertops, marble floors, and Swarovski crystal sconces—are first class, and include lounges furnished with quaint pub tables and hand-carved mahogany chairs. The ballroom can be sub-divided into three separate rooms that are ideal for smaller meetings. These completely soundproof, fully air-conditioned rooms are equipped with sound and lighting systems that can be controlled individually or by master control, Wi-Fi projectors, screens, and all related accessories. Private banquet rooms like the Twelve Oaks Fireside Room and the Plantation Club Room are also available, bringing the overall meeting space to 8,552 square feet.
