Royal Upgrade

The Royal Pacific Resort in Universal Orlando has been renamed the Loews Royal Pacific Resort after an $8.5 million renovation. The 1,000-room, 51-suite hotel features 85,000 square feet of meeting space, a new South Pacific island-esque image, and the addition of extra amenities in the guest rooms, including iPod docking stations, iHome clocks, 32-inch flat-screen TVs in standard rooms, and 42-inch flat-screens in the suites.
