Orlando Chef Named U.S. Captain for World Pastry Cup

David Ramirez, executive pastry chef at Rosen Shingle Creek, has recently been selected to serve as captain for Team USA in the World Pastry Cup, a highly exclusive competition for the crème de la crème of the culinary world. The competition occurs only every other year in Lyon, France, and participating is considered a great honor.

Ramirez said he hopes that his experience in the international cooking competition will influence his creations when he comes back to his restaurant.
