Waldorf-Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Now Taking Reservations

On December 5, the Waldorf-Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek properties officially began accepting reservations for stays following their grand opening on October 1, 2009. Announced in April of 2007, both resorts are being built within the confines of Bonnet Creek, making this the largest development in Hilton Hotel history.

"It is exciting to see so much interest despite a challenging economic climate," said Tom Parke, director of marketing for the properties. "It's a vote of confidence for this landmark project and a continued testament to the demand for Orlando as a destination."

The Waldorf-Astoria Orlando, the first built outside of New York City, will have 497 rooms and suites and more than 28,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek will offer more than 122,000 square feet of meeting space and a variety of prefunction areas. Outdoor venues include Bonnet Creek Island, a private island surrounded by a lagoon on three sides.

Both properties will share a combined 150,000 square feet of meeting space, a Rees Jones-designed championship golf course, and several gourmet restaurants.
