As Boston College and Virginia Tech geared up to take the field on December 6 for the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game in Tampa, Tampa Bay & Company, the city's convention and visitors' bureau, hosted multiple events, wrapping up with the ACC Night of Legends, an evening dedicated to honoring ACC champs, on December 5.
At the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, event attendees enjoyed small studio-style interviews with former college football heavyweights such as Tiki Barber (Virginia) and Russell Maryland (Miami).
Tampa's own musical heavyweight and jazz extraordinaire Eric Darius entertained with upbeat jazz classics and current hits. A celebration of the city's rich Cuban heritage was prevalent throughout the evening, as guests dined on cuisine from the hotel's catering department and enjoyed custom-rolled cigars.
