Amelia Island Plantation Offers Discounts for Meetings

Amelia Island Plantation, a AAA four-diamond island resort 29 miles northeast of Jacksonville, is now offering significant savings when you book your next meeting at the property. For groups booking between January 2 and April 10, 2009, the plantation will provide complimentary airport transportation, one group activity, a one-hour welcome reception with appetizers, beer, and wine, and 25 percent off audiovisual equipment rental and golf fees for group tee times. A minimum of 20 rooms per night with a two-night minimum stay is required to receive this offer.

Additionally, select dates in January, February, and March 2009 are free with the purchase of the daily full-American meal plan, which includes a plated or continental breakfast, a plated or boxed lunch, and a plated dinner. A minimum of 40 rooms per night-with a two-night minimum stay-is required, with rates based on availability.

Both special offers are valid only for new business booked at the hotel and cannot be applied to existing group reservations.

With more than 49,000 square feet of function space to accommodate parties of as many as 1,000 guests, the property is equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual services, luxury accommodations, fine dining, 72 holes of championship golf courses, a "clean and green" natural luxury spa, and 20 on-site pools.
