Party Prices for Pop Stars

If you're pricing big entertainment options for an upcoming meeting or event, Talk magazine dished a few approximations on how much dough it'll take to get some big-name acts to perform. At the top of the list are the Rolling Stones for a whopping $3 million, followed up by Celine Dion for $1 to $1.5 million (not including the cost of 22 round-trip airfares for her entourage), and Neil Diamond and Aerosmith both offer their services for $1 million. You can get all five 'NSync boys for $800,000 to $1 million, or just J-Lo for $750,000 to $1 million (excluding the cost to cover her dressing room in white muslin, with a white sofa and white flowers).

You can get Sheryl Crow, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross or Harry Connick Jr. (who requires a two-serving fish dinner after his performance) for under $550,000 each. Both Diana Ross and Barry Manilow will croon for $250,000, but Ross requires 25 extra plane tickets for her entourage and Manilow refuses to perform "in a room where food has been served." (Who's the bigger diva here?). Tony Bennett only asks for $150,000 to $200,000 and a Bosendorfer or Steinway piano; Kool & the Gang will belt out "Celebration" and other hits for $60,000; and at the bottom of the list is Dionne Warwick, who demands $35,000 to $40,000 and "two bottles of Cristal, which she reportedly packs in her suitcase to reuse as Christmas gifts."
