No Dogs Allowed in the Living Room

The pet aficionados online magazine Leashes and Lovers scheduled a cocktail party at the W New York—Times Square's Living Room bar for last night. But just over seven hours before the party’s scheduled time, the hosts cancelled the event and sent out an emotional notification email to invitees saying, “Despite what we were told, the Living Room at the W hotel now will not allow dogs…We realize this is sad news since we all have been looking forward to it for many weeks. Please accept our apologies. We are as disappointed as you.” Caution to event planners: Next time your guest list includes pets, pick a different venue.
