Chefs On The Loose in Tampa

A new venue offering a cooking experience for the novice in a professional setting will soon be opening its doors in Tampa. Chefs on the Loose Inc., the newest venture of Laura Schmalhorst - former owner of A La Carte Catering Gourmet - will debut in September and offer cooking lessons both mainstream and elaborate, for domestic and international fare. Guests can also have a chance to fix their own meal prior to eating right at the chef's table. The new space will welcome private events at its Bay to Bay Blvd. location.
