Last Wednesday, the Time Hotel opened its second-floor cocktail space, Inc. Lounge, with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the bustle of Times Square. Like the Ava Lounge and Rm.Fifty5 in sister property the Dream Hotel, this venue is small but artfully furnished. The 2,500-square-foot lounge from Ric Addison was designed by Jody Singleton with a mix of furnishings including hand-painted club chairs, Lucite chandeliers, Mongolian sheepskin pillows, and wild-orchid- and mermaid-patterned wallpaper. In addition to a long bar (complete with brown alligator-skin-upholstered stools), Inc. also offers a corner in the rear near the DJ decorated with a black tufted sofa, as well as a back room appointed with a pool table, embossed leather mirrors, and an oversize cowhide-print ottoman. On the menu is a full cocktail list as well as snacks from the hotel's in-house restaurant, Serafina.
Holding a total of 250 for receptions, the venue is available for buyouts, and catering is provided by Dean & DeLuca. Smaller groups can book areas of the lounge including the back room.
