The Hope Ball is the signature fund-raising event of the Toronto Western and General Hospital Foundations. The 2004 Hope Ball raised funds for the Krembil Neuroscience Centre.
To provide a unique and memorable theme this year, the Hope Ball committee took inspiration from the legend of "The 1,001 Arabian Nights." The Fairmont Royal York Hotel, which also catered the event, saw its concert hall converted into the interior of a lush and elegantly draped tent with help from Micki's Fine Linen. Subtle lighting throughout the room by Visual F/X created a warm ambience, which enhanced the room and floral designs by Emblem.
