About 300 executives, retailers, and other fashion folks mingled on 620 Fifth Avenue’s rooftop garden last night at Esquire and clothier Jack Victor’s party for the Collective, the fashion trade show at Pier 94 this week. In lieu of a traditional open bar, the hosts set up five cocktail stations, each featuring a signature drink. The cocktails were intended to offer guests respite from the heat, and, in one case, so did the spot where they were mixed: Those waiting for Patron margaritas could lean against a large ice bar designed by Okamoto Studio.
Even with several options in no short supply, we asked guests about their ideal beverages.

—Kali Stivison, model

“A nice white wine. Nothing fights the heat like it.”

—Elizabeth Copula, Jack Victor

—Julia Tobey-Fischer, model
