On Feb. 7., the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa for Super Bowl LV. And while big parties are off-limits this year, you can still support your favorite team with some social distancing—and lots of snacking. We’ve rounded up some festive ideas for at-home catering, decor and entertainment that work well for small groups, outdoor events and virtual watch parties.
Taste of the NFL@Home

Instead of the usual in-person Taste of the NFL, this year the charity food event, now called “Taste of the NFL@Home,” will be virtual and feature celebrity chefs including Andrew Zimmern, Carla Hall and Tim Love preparing tailgate eats live from a stage outside Raymond James Stadium on Sunday. Tickets to the livestreamed event, which will benefit GENYOUth, an organization that supports food-insecure children, include access to recipes created for the event such as Carla Hall’s Chicken Doritos Meatballs (pictured), which are made with crushed Doritos.

Sabra's “Create Your Own Play” Snack Kit

Last month, Sabra drafted vegan chef Charity Morgan to craft a limited-edition “Create Your Own Play” snack kit featuring game-day snacking ideas using the brand’s hummus. Consumers were able to enter for a chance to win the limited-edition kit. Each kit included a tub of Sabra hummus, Cholula hot sauce, Triscuit crackers, McCormick seasonings and branded stencils. Although the contest is over, Sabra is still sharing game-day recipes on its website and Pinterest page, including this stadium filled with guac and hummus.

Culinary Kickoff Benefit

On Saturday, the seventh annual “Culinary Kickoff” benefit, which is a hybrid experience this year, will take place in Tampa. Guests will be able to tune into the livestreamed event featuring NFL legends Marshall Faulk, Charles Woodson, Ronnie Lott, Jerry Rice and more, along with chefs Charlie Palmer, Michael Mina and Adam Sobel who will prepare dishes from brand partners including Charles Woodson’s Intercept Wines and Woodson Whiskey and John Anthony Vineyards. Guests will be able to cook alongside the chefs virtually by purchasing recipe ingredients through the Whisk app, as well as wine, spirits, cigars and more. The event benefits the Culinary Kickoff Scholarship Fund at The Culinary Institute of America and All Stars Helping Kids. Pictured: Michael Mina's Hay-Smoked Prime Rib.
