Wolfgang Puck has a steakhouse in the works. Tentatively called Cut—a play on cutting edge, and on chopping steak—the restaurant will be located in the Regent Beverly Wilshire and is expected to open in May. The venue is also scheduled to feature a bar called Side Bar, which will emphasize handcrafted cocktails. Über-architect Richard Meier is designing the space.
As for Mario Batali’s latest space, the details are sketchy. The working name is Osteria del Latte, and an early fall opening is planned.
