Michelle Durpetti Events celebrated its fifth anniversary April 11 with a "Fierce, Fabulous, and Five" bash at Chicago's Loft 644. Durpetti partnered with local vendors to bring music, drinks, food, and a bevvy of eye-catching desserts to the soiree.
Across from the bar, an ornate dessert spread from Sugar Chic Designs held sweet treats from Lillycakes & Desserts. Though the table itself had a springy look with leafy sprigs and butterflies in a bell jar, desserts included autumnal items. Lady apples drizzled in homemade caramel were displayed on a cake stand. Other treats included lavender-honey carrot cakes, spiced-apple doughnuts, and mini apple pies served in Mason jars and topped with heart-shaped crusts.
