At the conference, which wrapped May 7 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, 16 large screens created a stunning display around the perimeter of the main networking area, known as the Experience Zone. The screens, if placed end-to-end, would fill the length of three football fields. Questions displayed on the screens were answered during the three keynote presentations.

Based on feedback from the event’s advisory board, organizers redesigned the SAP Experience Zone, giving it a more open look and also adding brand messaging throughout.

In the center of Sapphire Now's Innovation Showcase, SAP demonstrated its work with airline and shipping companies on a large digital map. Airplanes and ships appeared to travel around the world based on data attendees selected on four adjacent touch screens.

As attendees used touch screens to select data from SAP clients such as John Deere and Lufthansa, it was represented on both the digital world map in front of them and also on the screens that wrapped around the Innovation Showcase.

The main theater on the show floor offered seating for 5,000 people. Attendees could also watch keynote presentations on screens positioned around other areas of the show floor.
