J. Crew and JetBlue J.F.K. Pop-Up

On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving—traditionally one of the busiest travel days of the year—J. Crew and JetBlue offered a respite for harried travelers. A pop-up installation at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport had four claw machines offering treats such as jewelry, hats, and gloves from J. Crew as well as JetBlue travel certificates.

Air Hollywood built a lounge from repurposed aircraft parts at J.F.K. International Airport as an homage to the Rolling Stones' touring plane. Holiday travelers can sample the special edition tequila at the pop-up event until December 30.

The Rolling Stones' 1972 tour plane, featuring the band's famous tongue logo, carried a rotating entourage of celebrities, groupies, and roadies (who were nicknamed the "Stones Touring Party") and was the inspiration for the Air Hollywood installation.
