Patina assumed catering duties for the Recording Academy’s massive “Grammy Celebration,” the official after-party for the Grammy awards in Los Angeles in February. At the Candy Land-inspired event, the caterer’s dessert station offered sweets like blue chocolate popcorn, Pop Rocks shooters, and liquid chocolate s’mores—plus cotton candy trees, where guests could pluck their treats right from the branches.

For the launch of the catering and event program at New York’s WTC860 - Riviera at the World Trade event space in December 2015, Riviera Caterers built a 24-foot-long, 8-foot-high pretzel wall. The interactive wall held 600 pretzels of different flavors, including garlic parsley, cheddar, cinnamon, salted, and plain, along with dipping sauces. The setup is customizable and can be converted for a variety of displays such as a salad or bagel bar.

Cocktail mixer brand Bittermilk offers a gift set called the Overnighter, $125. The handcrafted denim cocktail tote is stocked with a Mason jar shaker, a muddler, a jigger, and a hand-made cocktail mixer in a flavor of choice. Options include “Smoked Honey Whiskey Sour” and “Charred Grapefruit Tonic with Bulls Bay Sea Salt.” Products ship throughout the United States and Canada.

Cocktail Courier offers cocktail kits stocked with all the ingredients necessary to prepare mixologist-designed drink recipes. Optional add-ons include mint julep silver cups or champagne flutes. Each box—which can be delivered to hotels or offices—makes several cocktails, and prices typically range from $5.99 to $7.99 per drink. The packages are available in New York and Chicago and in other states through interstate delivery.

South Florida-based Ronen Rental introduced its new wood pallet lounge ($950) as a seating area option. The hand-crafted structure, which measures 96 by 96 inches, includes 12 seating cushions and eight accent pillows (room for 15 guests). The elevated portion, which measures 48 by 48 inches, can display plants, branded products, or other decor elements. The item is available for rent in South Florida.
