To highlight the event's focus on children and fund-raising for a charter school, the 2006 Robin Hood Foundation gala had giant chalkboards in the reception area set up in New York's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. David Stark sketched local landmarks and iconic scenes on the walls, and, during the event, guests could add their own designs with chalk provided in bowls on the cocktail tables.

On November 29, Perrier-Jouët celebrated the opening of its lounge L'Eden by Perrier-Jouët in partnership with Vanity Fair at Casa Faena in Miami Beach. The event included performers who literally danced on Perrier-Jouët bottles. In addition, Sarah Jessica Parker surprised guests as she appeared on stage in a performance created by Simon Hammerstein, the theatrical director and owner of New York's Box nightclub. Other celebrity guests at the party included Katie Holmes, Petra Nemcova, and Lady Victoria Hervey.

As guests arrived at the Ace Museum, they were greeted by a vintage Beetle and were then shuttled up to the rooftop via a Volkswagen e-Golf, the brand’s first all-electric model sold in the U.S. Guests also checked out the new Volkswagen Atlas on display. Domain PR worked with TIL Lifestyle Marketing & Events to produce the event.

Volkswagen hosted a drive-in movie-style event at the Ace Museum, where organizers transformed the rooftop to resemble a classic drive-in movie theater. In keeping with the #ThrowbackThursday theme, the outdoor event screened Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Some guests watched from the lawn, complete with picnic tables and blankets, while others watched from Volkswagen vehicles.

Participants played a rookie spy for The Audition, which showed action sequences of participants driving the Jaguar XE. Just right for summer entertaining, Zen Arts offers an array of entertainment options that can work over or around a pool space. “Bubble spheres” are transparent spheres that hold performers and float on water. The company started with just one, and recently expanded to six, which are now available for dramatic outdoor entertaining. Zen Arts can also bring in costumed mermaids to provide poolside drama.

At Nivea's celebration of National PDA Day Wednesday in New York, the brand and 700 guests celebrated skin at several booths: a "spin the bottle" booth invited guests spin a roulette wheel for a chance to win Nivea products, a kissing booth welcomed amorous couples, and a photo booth allowed couples to take and print photos on site, while Nivea uploaded them to its Facebook page and let guests tag themselves.
