Canon is hosting a pop-up photo experience for consumers through November 18 at a vacant space in SoHo. With the help of experts, the camera brand is letting guests use cameras to take photos of themselves and others at various photography setups. One station features a massive photo of the Manhattan Bridge from the street in Dumbo in Brooklyn. Using Canon technology and an app that attendees can download, a person can take a photo of themselves that is reflected onto the floor, which has a surface that creates the illusion of a puddle. Canon partnered with Grey and the Taylor Group to produce the experience.

Essence held an end-of-summer consumer event celebrating fashion, culture, and community on September 9 at Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn. The event featured 90 local vendors and nine local food trucks, along with talent including Amanda Seales, Yemi Alade, Teyana Taylor, and segments from Macy’s and Nike. An eye-catching photo op in the venue spelled out the name of the magazine in colorful block letters and included a life-size blue and purple compact mirror. Event production and design elements were helmed by April Luca of Gold Sky Productions and Jovanca Maitland, director of live events and experiential at Essence.

The Human Rights Campaign’s 22nd annual H.R.C. National Dinner took place September 15 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington. A photo booth in the Wells Fargo "Equality" lounge showcased the company's sponsorship of an exhibit at the Newseum opening in March 2019, called "Rise Up: Stonewall and the LGBTQ Rights Movement—50th Anniversary (1969-2019)." The photo booth featured a backdrop of newsprint with headlines from the time period, accented by a neon rainbow.

Halo Top celebrated the opening of its new Scoop Shop at the Grove in Los Angeles in August with installations inspired by the brand’s ice cream flavors and containers. Designed by Shiraz Creative, the three installations were inspired by Halo Top’s rainbow swirl, strawberry, and birthday cake flavors. The rainbow installation featured a swing; the strawberry installation mimicked a hot air balloon; and the birthday cake installation had a colorful ball pit.Â

Belvedere Vodka celebrated the launch of its limited-edition bottle designed by visual artist Laolu Senbanjo with a fashion event at the Whitney Museum of American Art on September 6. The event featured runway models who were painted by Senbanjo, known for his body painting that was featured in Beyoncé’s Lemonade. The design draws inspiration from ancient Nigerian symbols and patterns and Senbanjo’s Yeruba heritage. Jack Morton Worldwide produced the event.Â

The sixth annual Bootsy Bellows party was produced by the Narrative Group. Guests could pose for a GIF inside a McDonald's vignette designed to look like a dripping ice cream cone.Â

Staffers stood behind a brightly colored wall and slid open small panels in order to hand guests McCafé products or McDonald's smoothies.Â

For its second Desert Jam pool party at the Arrive Hotel, the denim brand continued its tradition of customizing Lucky-branded bandanas with guests' names.

A gallery wall decorated with nods to motorcycle culture, denim, and the West Coast helped to visually evoke the brand's ethos.

The vodka brand's activation on the festival grounds—which was produced by MKG—featured a colorful LED dance floor, a rainbow photo op, and a branded bar. The vibrant space was themed "Naturally Proud," which was meant to evoke both the Absolut Lime brand messaging as well as the brand's acceptance of all cultures, races, and sexualities.

Guests found decorative neon lips throughout the space, including in a standalone rectangular-shaped structure that quickly became one of the more popular photo ops of the evening.Â
