
To celebrate the public opening of the Broad in Los Angeles in September 2015, event producer Ben Bourgeois was inspired by the art museum’s unique design. Laser-cut paper foldouts as tabletop centerpieces represented the architecture of Grand Avenue and surrounding buildings downtown, including Disney Hall and the new Broad. LED lights illuminated the representations of the buildings so they appeared to glow from within.

Wolfgang Puck's Frozen Sushi Station

Other new stations at Wolfgang Puck Catering include a frozen sushi station. The activation displays fresh fish and sushi rolls atop illuminated ice blocks with frozen orchids and other flowers inside.

Johnnie Walker Pop-Up Shop

Johnnie Walker partnered with gift concierge app Giftagram to host a gifting pop-up at Brookfield Place in New York. The pop-up, which runs through December 24, offers complimentary bottle engravings and scotch whiskey tastings. MKTG produced the pop-up and West Elm provided furniture in the lounge-like space.Â

Hunger-relief organization Food Bank for New York City celebrated its annual Can Do Awards Dinner in April 2018 at Cipriani Wall Street. The star-studded gala, which saw performances from Salt-N-Pepa and Kid Capri, had simple yet sleek centerpieces designed by Swoop that evoked the city’s skyline.

In the cocktail area, the design was more streamlined than last year, with a key installation as the focal point. Crafted by David Stark, the structure in the shape of the number 100 was embedded with old computer chips and circuit boards, which were later recycled.

For the grand opening of Mariano's newest Chicago location in October, Kehoe Designs arranged for a disco-themed soiree inside the supermarket. To bring a Studio 54 vibe to the space, the designers used shimmering bars and disco balls for the decor.

At the welcome reception for the BIO International convention at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center in June, Kehoe Designs created various themed areas including a Japanese-inspired space, where the bar was covered in koi pond imagery and live greenery.

Zellers threw a farewell party produced by Candice & Alison in November as the Toronto retailer got ready to shutter all its stores after 61 years of business. A massive, four-sided bar was covered in enlarged newspaper clippings from 1951, the company's opening year.
