As more than 3,200 event professionals gathered for the BizBash Expo & Awards at the Javits Center on October 27, we asked a group of them about their favorite trends of the year—as well as the things they're tired of seeing at events. Here's a look at what we heard from the likes of keynote speaker Arthur Backal and Carla Ruben of Creative Edge Parties, who later picked up the Readers' Choice award for Caterer of the Year.
