For private groups looking to hold an event during this promotion, Universal offers several options that put guests in the middle of the action. On the nights when Halloween Horror Nights is not taking place—Mondays and Tuesdays in October as well as October 6 and 13—private groups can still incorporate the haunted houses and scare-actors into events.
Events at Lombard’s Seafood Grill give guests a front row seat to the Zombi Gras parade, a Halloween twist on Mardi Gras. The waterfront, nautical-themed restaurant has seating for 250 inside, and can accommodate an additional 200 for outdoor receptions on the deck.
Near the front of the park, the Pantages Theater can host receptions of 300 people. The theater's live interactive show, which reveals the movie industry’s make-up and special effects secrets, can be booked for private showings. Just outside the theater’s entrance is a scare zone with characters from the past 20 years of Halloween Horror Nights.
Located at the park's entrance, the 2,100-square-foot Hollywood Suite can hold 80 for a reception or 60 for a buffet. The room is equipped with a television, DVD player, and sound system.
Universal Orlando has 108,000 square feet of meeting space with combined capacity of more than 13,000. For team-building activities, the park’s meetings team can create a scavenger hunt that takes participants throughout Halloween Horror Nights.
