Chuck Grouzard describes himself as dependable, motivated and creative. Learn more about him.

What I do:  I am delighted to lead the GES exhibition sales teams across North America. In addition to managing our sales teams, I am actively involved with seven major, well known annual trade shows, serving as their primary GES point of contact for advance planning and onsite execution of their face-to-face events. My team and my clients would describe me as fair, honest, creative, energetic, strategic and someone they can trust and depend on to go above and beyond to deliver outstanding results.

How I got here: In June 2019, I celebrated 32 years at GES. Prior to joining GES, I began my career as an event manager at McCormick Place. Over the past 32 years, I have had some amazing opportunities to grow, learn and take on many different responsibilities, in account management, operations and sales.

Greatest career accomplishments: I received the GES President’s and Core Values Award that recognizes a commitment to embracing and demonstrating to my peers, clients and the industry. Another accomplishment that I am really proud of is a new program that I created and developed to recruit, train and motivate the next generation of young professionals within our industry. This program, known as the GES Account Associate Program, was created in 2015

Impressive stats:  In 2019, my team worked with more than 450 amazing clients across all industries, producing over $429 million worth of business. Under my direction and creative leadership style, the team exceeded their 2019 cumulative sales goals by 165%—in excess of more than $505 million in future sales.

Specific improvement I’ve made: In 2018, I formed a fundraising task force to raise money for Center for Exhibition and Industry Research research and to create scholarship opportunities for young professionals in our industry.
