Pedro Goes, 25, works in Wilmington, Delaware, as CEO at InEvent. As a 2018 40 Under 40 honoree, Goes discusses his passion for the events industry.
What I do: I'm InEvent's co-founder and CEO. I'm always looking for ways to improve event planning and organization with technology and software. My work includes recruiting talented hard-working people, communicating the company strategy and closing major deals. I also provide product development and coding support. Greatest career accomplishment: I have grown the company from a two-person team to more than 30 people; from zero to more than 300 clients; from zero to $1 million in revenue in 26 months after launch. Impressive stats: In the last three years, 600.000 attendees had access to InEvent's platform, more than 4.000 events were created using InEvent solutions and our customers saved more than 80 percent in time operational costs. What I am working on: We are launching an Event Tech themed event called InEvent Future and also a series of webinars with specialists called InEvent Future Talks. We also have important new product developments, such as an easy to use meeting platform for associations and nonprofits.
