As a planner for the supermarket stalwart that owns Giant, Peapod and Stop & Shop, Kopitsky has a big job for such a petite person. She supports Ahold USA’s diversity and inclusion strategy by helping coordinate, plan and execute group meetings, external networking events with partner professional networks, and internal associate engagement events such as internal food festivals and community business showcases. How did she get her position? “I was pulled into a diversity and inclusion project, which ultimately gave me deeper exposure to planning. It’s an area of the business I am truly passionate about,” she says.
