Julie Amoroso has been appointed the special events planner for the North Shore Animal League America. Prior to this position, the was a freelance planner; past events include an Ethical Culture Fieldston School gala and events for the City University of New York Honors College. Amoroso will be in charge of fund-raising events for North Shore.
Matthew Schlosberg, formerly of software company 2K Games, has joined White Plains Linen as its vice president of business development.
