In support of its goal to eliminate chronic homelessness in Miami, Camillus House announced the appointment of Gloria Barbier, the former executive director for World Vision, Florida. In her new role as vice president of institutional advancement, Barbier will direct the charity's fund-raising efforts, oversee the strategic development of the planned giving and major gifts programs, and play a key role in the forthcoming capital campaign to relocate the NE First Avenue shelter to a site located on NW Seventh Avenue and 14th Street.
