FogScreen Inc.'s namesake product creates a magical projection effect that can be used at meetings and special events. Introduced in July, the FogScreen emits a solid-looking plane of fog, onto which any kind of image—from lasers to simple slides—can be projected. The permeable screen allows presenters to walk through projections of doors without harming the image. Promotional products and corporate logos appear to float in midair. The fog is water vapor, but it will not wet a presenter, special guest, or product. With proprietary software, the screen becomes an interactive tool for presentations by tracking hand movements with a laser, allowing presenters to write and draw on the screen; the software is Windows-based.
