In its 25th season, LG Fashion Week featured more than 40 designers and labels in its five-day run, which ended Friday. Also on display was its new home in David Pecaut Square. Three tents made up the space, which included a runway room for 700, a fashion environment for sponsors and receptions, and the Studio, a versatile space for up to 350 guests.
Although the downtown location was much more accessible than last year's show in Exhibition Place, the venue was noticeably smaller, allowing for intimate runway shows—and more crowding. And perhaps for once, visitors were not envious of models wearing the newest Spring/Summer collections for 2012, but were happy to wear last season's coats, as temperatures in the tents could get chilly.
Here's a look at some event production highlights from the shows.
