#AerieReal Role Model Launch Dinner

Aerie hosted its third “Changing the Course” dinner to celebrate its 2020 lineup of #AerieReal Role Models on January 23 at nightlife venue the Blond at 11 Howard in New York. During dinner, which was conceived and produced by Shadow Events, the role models were encouraged to rotate seats with each course in order to chat with the media, influencers, and executives in attendance. The floral arrangements were provided by Mimi Brown Florals, and custom name bracelets by Roxanne Assoulin served as napkin rings. Union Square Hospitality handled the catering.

Each guest wrote a letter to their future selves that will be sent to them later in the year as a reminder of the evening. In addition, a wall filled with colorful envelopes served as a photo backdrop as well as a place to store the letters.

Ben & Jerry’s Netflix and Chilll'd Flavor Premiere

On January 15 at the Helen Mills Theater in New York, beloved ice cream brand Ben & Jerry’s debuted its latest flavor: Netflix and Chilll'd, which is peanut butter ice cream with sweet-and-salty pretzel swirls and brownie bits. Designed by CSM, the event included a movie trailer screening with samples and a stand-up comedy set. Plus, guests could pose in front of an oversize TV screen prop, bowls of ice cream cut-outs, and a golden spoon seesaw. Proceeds from the ticketed event supported Greyston Bakery, which practices its “Open Hiring Model,” creating opportunities for individuals who face barriers to employment.

Fekkai Beach Clean-Up

On Monday, Dove Cameron joined hairstylist Frédéric Fekkai at the “Fekkai Turns the Tide Beach Salon and Cleanup” in Santa Monica, as part of the launch of the brand’s new haircare collection. Cameron, along with influencers, offered a hand using pink branded buckets during the clean-up, which was led by Heal the Bay.

Sundance Film Festival

At this year’s Sundance Film Festival, which wraps up February 2 in Park City, Utah, AT&T returned with a new look and name—WarnerMedia Lodge: Elevating Storytelling with AT&T. (AT&T is a presenting sponsor, the official wireless provider, and the official multichannel video programming distributor sponsor for the festival.) This past weekend, the telecom company debuted a reimagined space, which was produced by Sarah Seligson of Best Events, along with Amanda Pyle, creative services for AT&T. For the third year, Pizza Hut returned to Sundance with the Red Hut Lodge, a branded space that served up pizza and cocktails such as the Bloody Marinara and Hut Mulled Wine to guests. The Grammy Awards Parties

The Recording Academy's official after-party, known as the Grammy Celebration, was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center immediately following the January 26 award show, which took place at the Staples Center. The 5,000-attendee event was produced by Branden Chapman, executive in charge of production and chief business development officer of the Recording Academy, along with Angel City Designs, which handled design, decor, and logistics. Entertainment agency Roc Nation’s annual brunch took place January 25 at a private estate in Los Angeles. The design-forward gathering drew a who’s-who of the music industry, including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, 21 Savage, the Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, and more. So Events designed and produced the brunch, using a colorful palette featuring bold burgundies and subtle blushes inspired by Spain. Guests entered the party through a series of floral archways, which led to a living garden ceiling with a mirrored walkway. Throughout the week leading up to the Grammys, financial services company Citi hosted concerts for cardmembers at the Hollywood Palladium. Performers included Coldplay, Brittany Howard, Brandi Carlile, the Jonas Brothers, and the Roots. A fabricated oversize boombox with event branding served as a unique photo op for each performance.
