The 24th annual American Wine and Food Festival took to Universal Studios’ backlot on September 16, with more than 40 celebrated chefs (like the Food Network’s Bobby Flay, Babbo’s Mario Batali, Nobu Matsuhisa of Matsuhisa and Ubon, Le Bernardin’s Eric Ripert, Michael Mina of Michael Mina Bellagio, and Slanted Door’s Charles Phan) and more than 70 wine and
spirit purveyors coming together to benefit Los Angeles Meals on Wheels. The event was open to the public and featured live bands, a silent auction, and—natch—tons of food. Monique Rife produced the event for Universal, and Visa Signature was the presenting sponsor.
