Alzheimer's Benefit Takes Over Playboy Mansion

We stopped by the Playboy Mansion on Saturday night for the third annual Sammy Sideout benefit for the Alzheimer’s Association. After parking their cars at sponsor Hotel Angeleno’s nearby property, guests boarded shuttles for the short trip east on Sunset Boulevard to the mansion, where they found a vast silent auction that included sports and music memorabilia, as well as guarded cases filled with million-dollar diamond baubles. Sponsor Nespresso whipped up hot espresso drinks for the crowd, some of whom huddled under heat lamps—or dipped their toes in the hot water under the famed grotto—against the nighttime chill. Buzzz Inc., Epoch Entertainment, and the recently renamed Entertainment Fusion Group produced and handled publicity for the event.
