Online pre-registration for the BizBash New York Expo & Awards on Wednesday at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center has been extended until 5 p.m. today. Half-day passes are also available for access to the trade show floor after 3 p.m., attendance at the awards show, and entry into the post-show party at Sir Stage 37. The show floor will feature more than 150 exhibitors showcasing event products and services. Morning sessions include a keynote presentation from Scott Heiferman, C.E.O. and co-founder of Meetup.com, who will discuss "The Future of Events: Building Community Through Creativity," and an educational program featuring event pros like Maneesh Goyal of MKG, and Robin Hall of Macy's Parade & Entertainment Group. Colin Cowie is the afternoon keynote speaker. Other show highlights include a luncheon sponsored by NYIAEE and social media mentoring at the social media lounge.
The expo will conclude with the presentation of the winners of the Event Style Awards and new Readers' Choice Awards at 5 p.m. and a post-show cocktail reception immediately following the awards.
