* INCOMING *
1. STUDIO 54 REDUX: Cameron Diaz, Isaac Mizrahi, Naomi Campbell, and others came out to Sirius XM Radio's one-night-only revival of Studio 54 in its famous nightclub in carnation. WWD: "It was easy to imagine: all of Studio 54’s storied decor was on display. Neon light-up poles extended and retracted from the ceiling alongside long, thick silver streamers in time with musical crescendoes and a large gold Aztec-style sun against the back wall later made way for what Patti Hansen gleefully explained midshimmy on the dance floor as 'the man in the moon with the cocaine spoon!'"

2. POLITICAL DEBATES AS EVENTS: Variety looks at the evolving nature of cable news coverage: "The massive set that CNN sprawled out on the floor of the Sands Exposition Center for the Western Republican Debate came close to matching the scale of the Vegas strip, but it's also indicative of a trend infusing TV's coverage of the 2012 election cycle: The debates are not only drawing ever-larger auds, they're becoming more ambitious as events."

3. NO OLYMPIC GUERRILLA MARKETING: For the London 2012 Olympics, local law enforcement plans extreme penalties for anyone engaged in so-called “ambush marketing”—including streaking, walking around with advertisements on their body, or being involved with unauthorized trading near Olympic Park. 4. STEVE JOBS REMEMBERED: Apple employees paid their respects to the company's co-founder Wednesday at an outdoor service at the company’s Cupertino, California headquarters. Noral Jones and Coldplay performed and Al Gore and Jonathan Ive, senior vice president of industrial design, spoke. The service was streamed to employees around the world. The Hollywood Reporter:
