1. INAUGURAL AFTER-PARTY: “Pick any party you’ve ever been to, this was a thousand times better.” That's how one guest described the private, no-social-media-allowed White House event Monday following the official inaugural balls. President Obama even danced “Gangnam Style.” New York Post: "Guests were treated to cocktails and food in the Lincoln Room before the party got under way with performances by Eric BenĂ©t and [Janelle] Monáe. Later, DJ Cassidy spun party tunes, and stars including Katy Perry—with John Mayer—Usher, Swizz Beatz, Jennifer Hudson, and Alicia Keys did impromptu performances." http://bit.ly/UjAfsE

2. ROGUE ENTERTAINERS: Burlesque dancers hired for a C.A.A. party at Sundance turned in an explicit performance that didn't sit well with some guests. Hollywood Reporter: "A source with knowledge of the party planning says the dancers were told in advance to tone down the raunch but didn't. The crowd on the whole apparently didn't seem to mind, though, and the C.A.A. party became a buzzy topic of conversation on a night crowded with rival festivities." http://bit.ly/11N6OU5

3. SUNDANCE SWAG: The gifting may not have rebounded to prerecession levels, but brands are still handing out swag at the film festival, and publicists are making sure reporters know exactly who was spotted “mingling together with Stella Artois chalices in hand.” New York Times: " Robert Redford, Sundance’s founder, contemptuously refers to them as 'rogue marketers.'” http://nyti.ms/XxvoB2

4. OLYMPIC HANGOVER: Officials still haven't determined what to do with London's 80,000-seat Olympic Stadium. New York Times: "The tussling over the stadium’s future illustrates a perennial problem for Olympic hosts: how to find post-Games uses for the beautiful, splashy, exorbitantly expensive sports arenas they are required to build to secure the Games in the first place." http://nyti.ms/XwC2Y6

5. DAVOS GUEST LIST: With the World Economic Forum under way—and with a price tag of about $40,000 per guest—here's a look at companies sending employees to the swanky Swiss event. New York magazine: http://nym.ag/Tbaywh

6. OUTDOOR SHOW DEAL: Nielsen Expositions will keep the massive Outdoor Retailer trade show in Salt Lake City through at least 2016 following a deal to build a 150,000-square-foot exhibition tent near the city's convention center. Associated Press: "Organizers had considered moving the convention to other cities such as Denver or Las Vegas. With record numbers of attendees and exhibitors, organizers said they need more convention space and hotel rooms." The show draws more than 25,000 people and has been in Utah since 1996. http://abcn.ws/SANR2R
