CanWest Launches E! Television Network at Ritzy Residential Address

For the media launch of its new E! television network, CanWest MediaWorks chose the presentation centre at the luxurious Four Seasons Private Residences condominium and hotel complex in Yorkville. Event co-producers Krista Slack & Associates and Best Events LA, with help from Wendy Schellinger, executive director of Spec Events for E Network LA, used the interior and exterior of the Brian Gluckstein-designed space, installing a tent from Regal Tent Productions in the parking lot and a long red carpet to the street.

Guests arrived amidst a display of light and sound from Westbury National Show Systems. Upon making their way inside, many gravitated to a huge bar in the middle of the presentation centre. Furnishings by Corey provided decor elements such as intricate florals, plush monogrammed carpets, chromed railings, and arrangements of modern white lounge furnishings. Outside, umbrellas sprouted from cement planters emblazoned with the E! logo. The planters were placed strategically around the parking lot, giving guests private schmoozing spaces beyond the crush of the crowd. Daniel et Daniel catered the event, Holmes Communications provided public relations and Sean Paul and DJ Skye Nellor supplied the entertainment.
