1. D.C. PREPARES FOR NEXT ROYAL VISIT: The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are visiting Washington and Louisville, Kentucky, next month. Washington Post: “The official agenda has the couple—we’ll just call them Charles and Camilla, if that’s OK—here from March 17-20, celebrating the Magna Carta’s anniversary with a visit to the National Archives and taking in the scenery at Mt. 2. MAJOR CONCERT COMPANY SFX MAY GO PRIVATE: SFX, the owner of major electronic dance festivals, is proposing that the company go private, less than two years after its I.P.O. The New York Times: “The company has quickly grown to be a major player in the concert business, with full or part ownership of a range of events like Tomorrowland, Disco Donnie Presents and Rock in Rio, which will make its American debut in Las Vegas in May after 30 years of putting on huge events in Brazil and Portugal. … Yet SFX has also struggled with losses. In its most recently reported financial quarter, which included summertime, when many of its biggest events take place, the company had $2.7 million in net losses on $143.6 million in revenue.” http://nyti.ms/1MUnXkE

JESSE JACKSON'S MESSAGE AT SOCIAL MEDIA WEEK: The Revend Jesse Jackson has taken the tech industry to task for its lack of diversity, but he also had a message for social media users at the annual Social Media Week this week in New York. LOS ANGELES:  Asa Meza, a new restaurant serving Asian and Latino comfort food, has opened in the former home of Lexington Social House in Hollywood. The renovated space has a café, communal library room seating, two bars, and a patio.
