Situated in Beverly Hills' monied Golden Triangle district is the new Montage Beverly Hills, which opened last week. The eight-story hotel features a Spanish Colonial Revival-style exterior with terra-cotta roofing, plus an interior with wood floors and decorative copper ceilings. The Montage offers a variety of meeting space, plus a giant spa, dining options, and a host of suites.

The 201-room hotel includes 55 suites, two of which are 2,000-square-foot presidential suites. Decor includes dark wood, crown molding, muted colors, and custom chaises. Electronic control systems allow guests to adjust the lighting, temperature, and drapes in their rooms. Tiled balconies offer views of Beverly and Canon Drives or the property's gardens.

Event facilities at the Montage include a 5,000-square-foot Spanish-inspired ballroom with a large pre-function area and balconies. The 40-person Rooftop Conservatory offers alfresco event space. There is more than 9,000 square feet of private event space in all, and the hotel will cater breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

A fine-dining restaurant, Muse, seats 44. And a rooftop bar and grill features a fireplace, views of the Hollywood Hills, and casual fare.

The 20,000-square-foot bilevel Spa Montage offers a coed mineral pool, large changing lounges, and 17 treatment rooms and wet areas. There is also a fitness room and yoga and pilates studio.
