As part of its “Inspired” global campaign—an initiative to preserve its up-market image by forming relationships with furniture, graphic, architectural, and industrial designers—Bombay Sapphire unveiled an Yves Behar-designed chandelier called “Voyage” at its new home in John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 4. Barcardi Travel Retail, a division of Barcardi (Bombay Sapphire’s parent company) targets airport travelers and has hosted a series of events in airports in Barcelona, Bangkok, Singapore, Sydney, Hong Kong, and London, among other cities. At JFK, the event’s producer, Mara Medoff of Medoff Inc. worked with Cathryn Davis, the director for Deussen Global Communications, and JFK commercial director Carol Fish to create elegant and simple lounges in the terminal’s fourth-floor departure hall.
