Downtown Los Angeles venue offerings keep developing with the openings of restaurant Provecho and lounge Remedy earlier this month in the financial district. Both are situated in the same building, with the eatery specializing in modern Mexican cuisine and the lounge specializing in small plates and signature drinks. Provecho is a 5,100-square-foot restaurant outfitted to seat 158 and has floor-to-ceiling windows, hand-blown Italian chandeliers, a glass waterfall separating the kitchen and dining room, and a ceviche bar.
Remedy’s design features oversized light fixtures, seating areas bound by wood and metal, and antique mirror-paneled walls. The 2,900-square-foot space holds 150 for receptions and has a an upstairs V.I.P. area complete with two 42-inch LCD TVs. Both venues are available for full or partial buyout. Executive chef Gabriel Morales caters special events at the venue.
