At the border of Chelsea and Midtown is Top of the Garden, a dedicated event space that officially opened on Friday. The bilevel venue is two blocks south of Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, making it a convenient spot to entertain before a game or host informal meetings with out-of-town clients.
Atop a nondescript building, Top of the Garden includes a clean, open-plan loft measuring 1,800 square feet. An equally uncluttered rooftop terrace connects to this room via an internal staircase. This 1,000-square-foot outdoor section is furnished with wooden decking and fence-like walls. The perch, which overlooks the Penn Station-Madison Square Garden complex, can be used year-round.
The site comes fully equipped with track lighting and sound, and exclusive vendors include Robert Stark Lighting, Choice Productions for catering, and Swank Productions, which handles planning, design, and flowers.
